About this product
The high thermal conductivity of silicon carbide makes it not only a support but a heat transfer element. It therefore also serves in functional parts such as radiant tubes, heat baffles and flame deflectors. In this group we produce SiC parts with the section, holes and mounting details prepared to the customer drawing.
Material
Silicon carbide has the highest thermal conductivity among refractories. It evens out temperature distribution inside the kiln and carries heavy loads even in thin plates, cutting the dead weight of the setting and raising kiln efficiency. It also resists abrasion, oxidation and attack from molten metals.
Applications
- Radiant tubes and heat baffles
- Flame deflector pieces
- Wear-resistant lining plates
