About this product
A tube on its own is not enough: every tube entering the hot zone has to connect to a metal body that expands differently, and that joint is the source of most failures. In the assemblies we supply, the tube, its seal and its holder are planned together, with the expansion difference taken up by a compliant interlayer. Fit problems on site are avoided.
Material
Silicon carbide has the highest thermal conductivity among refractories. It evens out temperature distribution inside the kiln and carries heavy loads even in thin plates, cutting the dead weight of the setting and raising kiln efficiency. It also resists abrasion, oxidation and attack from molten metals.
