Frequently Asked Questions
What determines firebrick prices?
Four factors set the price: the material class (fireclay, high-alumina, mullite, corundum, AZS), the alumina or zirconia content, whether the size and tolerance are standard, and the order quantity. There is a substantial gap between a stock fireclay brick in standard size and an AZS block cut to project. That is why we prepare a quotation for your specific need instead of publishing a list price.
Do you deliver to Gebze and Kocaeli?
Yes. Our head office and facility are in Çayırova, Kocaeli, so we can deliver to the Gebze, Darıca, Dilovası, Körfez and İzmit corridor the same or the next day. We also arrange logistics for shipments across Türkiye and for export.
Can I have brick or blocks made in a non-standard size?
Yes, and it is what we do best. In our own cutting shop we machine the size and geometry you need from stock blocks on diamond benches, holding tolerance around ±1 mm. Arch wedges, channel blocks, rings, spouts and special fixtures are produced this way. Just send us your furnace drawing or a dimensioned sketch.
Which products are available ex stock?
Standard size fireclay and high-alumina firebrick, insulating brick, ceramic fibre blanket and board, calcium silicate and vermiculite boards, jointing mortars and the common sizes of fused mullite and AZS blocks are held in stock. These items can usually ship the same day.
I am not sure which material my furnace needs — can you help?
Of course. Send us the furnace type, working temperature, the medium it contacts (glass, metal, slag, flue gas) and, if available, photographs of wear on the existing lining. We produce a zone-by-zone material recommendation, a block list and an expected life assessment. There is no charge for this preliminary work.
Do you export?
Yes. We ship refractory materials to many regions of the world and take part in the sector international fairs. For export shipments we handle packaging, palletising and customs documentation.
