About this product
Whether the fibre can do its job depends on how well it anchors in the castable: a straight-ended fibre can pull out under tension. Needle-pointed fibres with irregular section prevent that pull-out and give higher tensile strength at the same dosage. They are preferred in particular where thermal shock is severe and the risk of cracking is high.
Material
Kent Ateş Tuğla machines refractories to the required dimension and geometry in its own cutting shop, starting from the block. Diamond-tipped saws and grinding benches turn out non-standard parts — arches, channels, rings and fixtures — on short notice. This group also covers steel fibre, pigment coating and installation auxiliaries.
