About this product
Trying to line a round duct with straight brick opens the joints outwards and lets hot gas pass behind the lining. Ring bricks with the wedge angle calculated for the diameter remove that problem. The andalusite based grade gives good thermal shock resistance against the swings in flue gas temperature.
Material
Andalusite and sillimanite are natural aluminium silicates that form mullite in situ when fired. That conversion gives the brick volume stability at temperature together with good thermal shock resistance. In ring bricks, channel blocks and medium-to-high temperature zones they offer a more economical answer than the corundum class.
