Firebrick
Firebrick in every grade from fireclay to high-alumina, standard sizes available ex stock.
Service temperature
1300–1700 °C
About this product
Two questions decide the choice of firebrick: the working temperature of the zone and the chemical environment it faces. Fireclay brick is enough for general purpose linings around 1300 °C, while burner zones and arches call for grades above 60% alumina. Kent Ateş Tuğla holds every standard size in stock at its Çayırova and Mersin facilities and prepares requested special dimensions in the cutting shop.
Material
Firebrick is the general name for clay and alumina based bricks fired to withstand high temperature. As the alumina content rises, so does the service temperature and the resistance to load: 30–45% Al₂O₃ fireclay bricks serve general purpose linings, while 60–80% high-alumina grades go into burner blocks, arches and heavily stressed zones. Kent Ateş Tuğla keeps the full range of standard sizes in stock and cuts them to any dimension required.
