About this product
Ceramic fibre blanket insulates everywhere brick cannot be laid: curved surfaces, covers, pipe penetrations and expansion joints. Its low weight puts no load on the furnace shell, and its low thermal mass shortens heat-up time. It is supplied at 96, 128 and 160 kg/m³ densities in the 1260 °C and 1430 °C classes.
Material
The insulation group cuts fuel consumption directly by holding heat inside the furnace shell. Ceramic fibre blanket and felt cover flexible applications, calcium silicate and vermiculite boards handle load-bearing insulation, and microtherm boards go where the highest insulation value must fit the thinnest section. Heat-resistant packings seal lids, doors and expansion joints.
Applications
- Furnace shell and cover insulation
- Expansion joint packing
- Pipe and line insulation
