About this product
A significant part of a furnace heat loss escapes not through the lining but through unclosed gaps: cover edges, door frames, peep-holes. Packing closes those gaps while keeping its flexibility hot. It is supplied in various section sizes and temperature classes, as round or square braid.
Material
The insulation group cuts fuel consumption directly by holding heat inside the furnace shell. Ceramic fibre blanket and felt cover flexible applications, calcium silicate and vermiculite boards handle load-bearing insulation, and microtherm boards go where the highest insulation value must fit the thinnest section. Heat-resistant packings seal lids, doors and expansion joints.
Applications
- Furnace cover and door gaskets
- Flange and joint sealing
- Peep-hole sealing
