About this product
In pipe insulation the real loss occurs at the joints between covering pieces; the fewer the joints, the smaller the loss. Cylindrical board tubes are produced as half shells that wrap the line in one piece, so the joint count falls to a minimum. Diameter and wall thickness are selected from the line temperature and the target surface temperature.
Material
The insulation group cuts fuel consumption directly by holding heat inside the furnace shell. Ceramic fibre blanket and felt cover flexible applications, calcium silicate and vermiculite boards handle load-bearing insulation, and microtherm boards go where the highest insulation value must fit the thinnest section. Heat-resistant packings seal lids, doors and expansion joints.
