About this product
Feeder bricks form the inner face of the feeder channel in contact with the glass and directly influence gob quality. A dimensional deviation disturbs flow inside the channel and makes gob weight fluctuate. We therefore machine every brick to the customer channel dimension within ±1 mm. Production runs quickly from our stock blocks for different line widths.
Material
AZS (alumina–zirconia–silica) is a fused cast refractory produced by melting the raw mix in an electric arc furnace and casting it into moulds. Its zirconia content gives outstanding corrosion resistance against molten glass, which is why it is the default choice for the tank bottom, sidewalls and throat — everywhere the glass makes direct contact. Kent Ateş Tuğla supplies the 33% and 36% ZrO₂ grades both as standard blocks and as project-specific cuts and shapes.
